American Express cuts Platinum Travel milestone rewards and adds spend-based lounge access
American Express has significantly reduced the value of the Platinum Travel Card by removing Membership Rewards milestone bonuses at ₹1.9 lakh and ₹7 lakh spends. It has also introduced a quarterly spend requirement for complimentary domestic lounge access starting 1 October 2026.

Effective 13 July 2026, IndiGo BluChips and Accor Live Limitless (ALL) allow reciprocal point transfers. BluChips convert to ALL at a 6:1 ratio, while ALL points convert to BluChips at a 3:2 ratio.

From 1 July 2026, HDFC SmartBuy brand vouchers earn accelerated points only up to 3,000 points per month across affected premium cards. Each card's overall SmartBuy monthly cap continues to apply separately.

Air India Maharaja Club transfer ratio improved to 1:1
Effective June 1, 2026, IndusInd Bank upgraded the reward points transfer ratio for the Tiger Credit Card to Air India Maharaja Club from the previous 2:1 to 1:1. This means 1 IndusInd reward point now converts to 1 Maharaja Club point. The monthly cap of 25,000 points remains. Transfers are irreversible and can only be made to your own Maharaja Club account via the IndusMoments portal.
